Tustin, CA ... The city has a Metrolink station and a small section of former Santa Fe branchline known as the Irvine Industrial Center. BNSF serves one customer on the branchline. The BNSF has a sliver of industrial trackage that branches into Irvine from the Metrolink's Orange Sub in Tustin, CA. While most of the branch resides in Tustin, it is often referred to as the Irvine Industrial Center or Irvine Industrial Lead. This branch is now served by the BNSF's 5th La Mirada local in the early AM hours usually once a week, but was previously switched by the 1st La Mirada local two or three times a week and done during the daylight morning or afternoon. A lot has changed for this road switcher.
